TESTIMONIALS

'The CSBM programme has been the greatest tool for this success...'

As business partners, we had great hopes for the future and we were each other’s inspiration.  Since investment for a clothing business was beyond our means, we started to look into other options such as a Franchise business.  Finally, we managed to obtain a bank loan, which was sufficient to establish a small business.

Having a location for our business, it is now opening doors for many other opportunities for us.  As well as the Rhythm Video and Cyber Cafe Services, we have opened our Clothing Alteration business from the same premises.  We can see a good response from the community and we hope to venture into clothing and fashion in a bigger way in the future and make our dream come true.

Our determination and dedication has certainly shown us the pathway to venture into a business of our choice.  The CSBM programme has been the greatest tool for this success.

We wish all entrepreneurs of small business, all the best for the future.

'My dream and goal was to always run my own business...'

When I came to New Zealand five years ago… My dream and goal was to always run my own business …
I came across the CSBM course and I went to their orientation , which I found useful, but it was real long time since I did a course so was a bit uncomfortable, and time was a big factor since I worked shifts etc.
I got talking to our tutor who gave me all the support to take the first step and enrol.   I did look at a few business options but nothing worked out.  Colin kept assuring me not to give up and keep looking.
I have now brought my Business PRECISION STATIONERY,OFFICE FURNITURE & COMPUTER SERVICE - thanks to the CSBM course.  I learned heaps out of it.  In the areas that I previously had zero knowledge .

'I would highly recommend this course to anyone considering starting a business...'

I would highly recommend this course to anyone considering starting a business or even curious about what lies on the other side! The content was relevant, up to date, and thorough, covering off on everything you need to know about starting your own business. The classes were fun, relaxed, and there is never such a  thing as a wrong question. I found the teacher to be the key to the success of the course because of his level of motivation, enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to help the students at any time of any day.

The support and encouragement  throughout the year long course was amazing, more than I have ever experienced throughout my expensive University Degree. I now consider my teacher to be a friend and mentor and the classmates to be great friends and business contacts.

I could not have gotten to where I am without Colin and the Small Business Management Course-thanks for everything!

'We were given real and up to date examples and case study in the business field...'

I was just about to withdraw from the CSBM programme, but our tutor motivated me to continue and catch up.

We were given real and up to date examples and case study in the business field.

Our tutor was helpful in correcting, suggesting, commenting and advising our assignments/ assessments and is very fast in giving response to every email/question from his students.  He sacrificed his time unconditionally in the weekend to assist his student succeed/ to complete the programme on time.

'...inspiring us to tap into our potentials as future business owners, to think like entrepreneurs...'

I am a very passionate believer in the significant need for an education programme to be delivered within a framework of support, motivation, delivering on its objectives and the allowance for an individual to not only explore their strengths and weaknesses but to be themselves.

By delivering business concepts and theories in a real sense, practical way, convenient for individuals like me who have a hectic life with time constraints.  The CSBM has enabled me to utilize its informative well provided and well applied resources to my current job and University studies.

The CSBM not only caters for Full time workers (who can’t afford to pay fees) and students who want to be debt free, but opens the tertiary education market up to Non-maori who equally benefit from this program.

This programme has brought together for the first time two of my family members and me inspiring us to tap into our potentials as future business owners, to think like entrepreneurs.

'Colin has helped our group to focus on what is vital to organisations ... '

During my studies with Colin in 2010 I was taught about Business Analysis and Tools for assessing the health of a business.  My first assignment in composing a Business Development Analysis, for Avondale Community Gardeners, gave the developing Charitable Trust Board, a sound, structural form, which was legally incorporated in August 2010.

My CABG Business Project assignments on Horticultural education programmes in the local community, and Avondale Community Gardeners Incorporation and registration as a viable Charity, provided the Trust Board, and our local community in Rosebank, with guidelines in participating, contributing, and evaluating community decision making, and management of community resources.

Colin has helped our group to focus on what is vital to organisations, particularly as ACG learns about financial planning, and tools for engaging within the public arena, and with institutions.  During this year, we will be launching a new brand to the public, becoming more reliant on our own skilled members to offer expert office and executive skills.

Colin’s mentorship and expertise, is being recommended to all our Trust members, supporters, and community.  Colin is critical, yet sensitive in establishing vibrant and sustainable business relationships within the community.

'The CABG programme let me focus on what is important in my business'

The CABG programme let me focus on what is important in my business. The once a week class gave me time to look into my business and analyze what steps I should take to achieve the goal  I want to achieve. It is just like working on your business with a tutor, isn’t it great!. The best person to make decision in your business is yourself, we just need a guide or tutor to help us out.
I highly recommend this programme to business owners.

'He teaches you to believe in yourself and instils the belief of success.'

It gives me pleasure to write a reference for Colin Frampton who I have known as a teacher at Te Wananga o Aotearoa for 3 years. To date I have attended and completed two courses, the Certificate in Small Business Management in 2007 and the Certificate in Applied Small Business Growth and Development in 2009.

Colin has a true passion for what he does. I enjoyed his classes, he is highly organised and structures his classes well. He gives great encouragement to all his pupils getting the most sceptical of student through their challenging assignments. He teaches you to believe in yourself and instils the belief of success.

As a student I found Colin conducts himself in a very professional manner always there to help whether it is finishing an assignment or a personal business related problem. His broad knowledge of business is very strong.
